The Regional Health Sciences Foundation is handing out $436,630 to the winner of August’s Thunder Bay 50/50 Grand Prize.
The big winner is Cathy Tymchyshyn of Thunder Bay.
She told Foundation that she isn’t sure what she’ll do with her winnings. “I have no idea. It’s the biggest thing I’ve won, for sure.” she said, “It’s wonderful!”
The proceeds from ticket sales help fund important medical equipment for the Regional Health Sciences Centre.
“The Thunder Bay 50/50 has been more successful that we ever could have imagined,” said Foundation President and CEO Glenn Craig, “We have some fantastic equipment announcements coming up, completely funded from support of the 50/50. We’re excited to share more as soon as we can.”
Ticket sales have begun for September’s raffle, which includes a $5,000 Early Bird draw on September 3rd, and two additional Early Bird draws worth $2,000 each.
Questions about the draw can be sent to info@thunderbay5050.ca. Ticket purchasers must be present in Ontario to purchase. Lottery licence RAF1199631.
