New Death, 12 Cases Locally

The 55th death of the coronavirus pandemic is confirmed by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Officials are also reporting Friday that there are twelve new cases of COVID-19, with another fourteen individuals confirmed to be resolved.

The numbers drop the active case count to 101:

  • Seven cases with no known exposure
  • Two case causes are pending
  • Two cases obtained through someone outside of the household
  • One positive diagnosis through travel outside of Northwestern Ontario
