Thunder Bay Pulls Through More Winter

Thunder Bay reaching close to the expected amount of snow and ice forecasted by Environment Canada.

Now that winter’s latest offering to this area is done, Environment Canada tells us it recorded about 10cms of snow at the airport, with up to 15cms in outlying areas and higher ground.

Road crews could be seen working city streets and sidewalks overnight.

We could get a little bit this weekend.

As for travel, Highway 11 from Longlac through to Hearst was closed overnight, but that is now open.
