Active Case Count Drops Again

For the sixth consecutive day resolved coronavirus cases outnumber active ones.

Tuesday’s case count is up to 29 as compared to Monday which was reported at 9.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit indicated that there are 49 cases that are deemed as resolved, which puts the active case count at 305.

  • Ten people were infected by someone in their household
  • Ten others were infected outside of the household
  • Four cases have no known exposure
  • Five case causes are pending

At the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre 9 of the 35 patients that are being treated for COVID-19 are in the Intensive Care Unit.
