There are 40 new cases of COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay District, for a total of 437 active infections.
That includes one more person in the Walford Retirement Home outbreak, and 16 who caught it within their household.
One more person is now being treated in the hospital.
Another 49 people are considered resolved.
Ontario’s seeing 1,747 new cases, which Health Minister Christine Elliott explains is higher than expected as they catch up on older data.
She says they don’t currently know how many of those cases are left over from previous days.
