City Man Charged With Human Trafficking

Police continue to look for more potential human trafficking victims.

A Thunder Bay man was arrested and faces several charges after police say someone lured a victim on a social media platform back in November of last year.

Police claim the person began making a profit from activity related to the human trafficking of his victim.

Authorities feel there could be other victims of human trafficking.

Charged is 31-year-old Jarren Kozyra.

He will be back in court on April 6th.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
