District Sees 26 New Cases

Another 26 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as another lockdown approaches.

The Thunder Bay District Health unit reports we now have 335 active cases, after 40 people are now considered resolved.

The Regional Hospital is treating one more person for COVID-19 in the Intensive Care unit. There are seven coronavirus patients in the ICU, and another 16 in the COVID-19 unit.

The district will be entering into the Grey/Lockdown stage of the province’s COVID-19 framework starting first thing Monday morning.

Looking at the province, Ontario’s new case count has declined slightly compared to yesterday, reporting 1,184 new cases.
