A northwestern Ontario MP believes the average Canadian will receive their COVID-19 vaccine sooner than later.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River’s Marcus Powlowski feels the Prime Minister is being cautious by saying it will be September before all Canadians get access.
He says that’s based solely on supplies from Pfizer and Moderna.
“There’s three other vaccines out there that seem to work. Two of them are waiting for Health Canada approval. My guess–it’s a guess, but it’s an educated guess, given my medical background–is that they’ll probably all be approved,” Powlowski says.
Powlowski adds Canada has signed agreements with those companies for several million doses.
