Hydro One Offers Mental Health Help

Hydro One is taking steps to address a growing demand for mental health services in our communities.

Jay Armitage is Vice President of Communications and Marketing and says they are partnering with Jack.org to bring free virtual mental health talks to youth and their families next month.

“These Jack Talks are stories told by young people, for young people, and it’s just really practical advice about how to identify and support those around you who are struggling with mental health,” she explains.

Statistics indicate calls and texts to Kids Help Phone have increased by 300 per cent in Ontario.

The sessions will be February 18th, 22nd and 23rd.
