Five new COVID-19 cases for Thunder Bay’s district Monday.
The health unit says they’re associated with the jail, the Valard East-West tie line project, and others who got it from being around infected people.
However, eight cases have been resolved, putting the current active count at 155.
To date, there have been 868 people infected since the pandemic’s start, with 26 deaths.
Two people are in hospital, one at the intensive care unit.
