Parents and caregivers will now have an added tool to help with knowing the status of their child’s bus.
The Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay has launched delay reporting notification service through the Bus Status free mobile app.
The app will provide you with real-time notifications whenever buses are delayed by 15 minutes or more.
The notifications will come in the form of alerts, which will also include service cancellations due to the ongoing severe driver shortage and adverse weather conditions.
The consortium provides transportation services to students of the Lakehead District School Board, Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board and Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique des Aurores Boréales.
