Ontario Cases Surge Over 4,200

Ontario has hit a new record with 4,249 new COVID-19 cases in one day.

In the region, active COVID-19 cases continue to decline, even with five new COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District.

The Health Unit puts the district at 49 active cases right now.

Among the new cases, one is at Southbridge Roseview, one caught the virus through close contact, one travelled outside the region, and two others are still under investigation.
