At St. Martin School, an investigation is underway after one person tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.
The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board isn’t revealing whether the affected person is a staff member or student.
However, the Board emphasizes there’s no evidence that the person caught the virus at school or spread it to others there.
They say parents and guardians of the affected class or cohort will get instructions on what to do, and the school will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The Board is working with Public Health officials as they investigate.
