Province Colour Codes Pandemic Classifications

The province is moving to a new coloured coded COVID-19 classification system for regions in the province.

Premier Doug Ford explains the framework was developed with the help of medical experts and adds it will be applied separately in individual regions of the province.

“This planning framework provides structure. It will help inform decisions on regional province-wide health measures based on the data we’re seeing,” says the premier.

The new colour scales show green is the lowest in the scale and grey is the lockdown classification. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is currently in code green.

Green=Prevent (lowest level or restrictions)
Yellow=Protect (strengthened restrictions.)
Orange=restrict (more)
Red=Control(modified stage 2)
Grey=Lockdown
