Botanical Conservatory To Reopen

The city-run botanical conservatory will be opening its doors Tuesday.

The facility, located on Dease Street just off of Balmoral Street, will be open Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am until 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 8 pm.

“We are happy to be reopening the Conservatory tropical display for the public to enjoy,” said Cory Halvorsen, Manager of Parks & Open Spaces.

It was one of the many facilities operated by The City of Thunder Bay which had to close because of the pandemic.

Visitors will have to abide by all safety precautions because of COVID-19.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
