Two Splash Pads Open Until Labour Day

You can still enjoy two city-owned splash pads until Labour Day.

The pads at the North End Recreation Centre and Franklin Park will close after the holiday, which falls on September 7th this year.

The County Park splash pad will close at the end of the day on Sunday.

“It’s been a warm summer, and we hope to continue to enjoy more of the same through the first week of September,” says Cory Halvorsen, Manager of Parks and Open Spaces.

Splash pads are open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm. Physical distancing and sanitation measures are in place, and splash pads are staffed while they are open.
