A Thunder Bay lawyer has had his licence to practice law revoked.
A Law Society of Ontario Tribunal has determined David Wallace Dubinsky engaged in professional misconduct.
The Tribunal has ruled, among other things, that Dubinsky failed to respond to and cooperate with eight Law Society investigations, failed to serve his client to the standard of a competent lawyer on several occasions, and failed to inform his client his lawyer’s licence was suspended.
As a result, he is not allowed to practice law in the province and must pay costs to the Society totalling $15,000.
