We can still expect a very warm Canada Day, and beyond.
Ryan Rozinskis is with Environment Canada, and points out there could be a heat warning issued for northern Ontario as two weather systems mingle in the next few days, “Warm air mass coming from the southern United States, and it’s just associated with a low pressure system over Manitoba, a persistent southwesterly flow.”
The meteorologist adds wind from Lake Superior can, as per usual practice, provide some relief from that heat. The only bit of rain he’s expecting is for the evening Canada Day, other than that, not much.
