Blue Jays Expect To Be Home Soon

The Toronto Blue Jays may be in a position to return to the Rogers Centre as early as Wednesday to prepare for the modified Major League Baseball season.

Premier Doug Ford says municipal, provincial and federal health officials have all given their unofficial approval.

“There’s a few tweaks here in the province that Dr. Williams wants to work out with them but we have to wait for the approval from the federal government on the quarantine side of things,” noted Ford.

Currently anyone entering Canada must self-isolate for 14 days, all due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Premier adds he’s in regular contact with the President of the Blue Jays ball club.
