A 28-year-old man is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, breach of probation and failure to comply with a judicial release.
Police say it comes after they were called to Pacific Avenue Sunday morning following reports of an altercation between two men involving weapons.
Officers say they found one man was in possession of what they say is a replica firearm, multiple knives and a mask.
The suspect attempted to provide officers with a false identity, but police were able to positively identify him and confirm he had outstanding warrants with the Thunder Bay Police Service.
The man was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
