Homicide Under Investigation In North Core

A man’s death is being treated as a homicide after Thunder Bay Police responded to the Midtown Inn last night.

Officers found a 29-year-old man with serious injuries, who was later pronounced dead at the Regional Hospital.

Police were called to the hotel at the corner of Cumberland and Camelot Streets around 10:20 P.M.

They are withholding the victim’s name, and officers are still on the scene as of Sunday morning.

This is Thunder Bay’s sixth murder for 2020.
