Weekend COVID-19 Testing Exceeds Expectations

The number of people tested for COVID-19 in a drive-through service at the Thunder Bay District Health unit is pleasantly surprising to officials.

They tell us over Saturday and Sunday, they estimate close to 250 people were tested, exceeding initial estimates.

The health unit and Superior North EMS Community Paramedicine program add it went so well they are looking to do it again, with further details such as when still to be determined.
