Hospital Employees Trained On PPE: CEO

The CEO of St. Joseph’s hospital says the staff have everything needed to do their jobs amid COVID-19.

Tracy Buckler tells us that includes all personal protective equipment, and anyone not happy at the hospital is news to her.

“We’ve heard absolutely nothing about people considering leaving over this issue or any other issue. Our staff have been fantastic at showing up and complying with the directions and making sure we’re keeping everyone safe and well,” says the CEO.

She adds everyone is instructed on the use of personal protective equipment, in fact, Monday morning the hospital began supplying equipment at the door.

“For all of our employees, just to make sure if they’re not able to maintain the two metre social distancing, whether it’s with colleagues walking down the hall,” points out Buckler.

The hospital CEO adds staff have what they need to fight COVID-19.

“We check our inventories frequently, and we certainly have an appropriate level and sufficient inventory at this point,” adds Buckler.
