There’s nothing for Ontario’s Medical Officer of Health to compare the COVID-19 pandemic too.
Medical Officer of Health says many are learning hard lessons involving just how much personal protective equipment and ventilators are needed.
“Many are trying to address that issue on how would one ensure supply during a global shortage in a global pandemic. This is our first global pandemic, and many are struggling to ramp up supply of their own PPE and ventilators,” Williams said.
The Medical Officer of Health notes nothing in Ontario’s recent past can compare to what we are dealing with globally now.
