The Thunder Bay District Catholic School Board is optimistic about the first days of online lessons.
The second phase of the province’s Learn at Home program launched this week.
Director of Education Pino Tassone says while there will be bumps in the road, he’s proud of the team at the school board as they started classes over the internet yesterday.
The Catholic board has also been helping students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to connect to the internet, and providing devices to those who need them to do their schoolwork.
Tassone says the board will keep an eye on the situation, and make sure students are taken care of.
Online lessons are also taking place with Lakehead Public Schools.
