RFDA Delivering Food Hampers This Week

The Regional Food Distribution Association is teaming up with 211 to deliver food hampers and meals to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Executive Director Volker Kromm says the hampers are for low income, housebound residents.
“We are supplying food for five to seven days and we are targeting those people who can’t get out and don’t have the resources, the elderly, low-income residents,” Kromm said.
211 will start taking applications this week.
Kromm notes they are also providing easily prepared foods like chilli for those people who are living out of motels or don’t have access to a kitchen.
