SIJHL Latest Victim Of Virus

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed another sporting league.
The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced the cancellation of the 2020 hockey season until further notice.
It comes after the Canadian Junior Hockey league announced that effective Friday all games and hockey-related activity involving its member clubs have been cancelled due to the continuing threat of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The CJHL also says there is a concern for the potential exposure and contamination of its players, team staff member, officials, volunteers and fans.

Just prior to the announcement the SIJHL postponed Thursday night’s contest between the Thunder Bay North Stars and the Thief River Falls Huskies.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
