A 20-year-old man has been found guilty of the aggravated assault of a now 83-year-old man.
The incident is said to have taken place in April of 2018 when the senior citizen was walking in his neighbourhood of Rockwood Avenue when he was approached by two young men.
The assault took place at 11:00 a.m. in the morning and involved two suspects police said were between the ages of 18 to 20 years old.
Scotlund Crompton was 19 at the time and was found guilty in court earlier today.
Police at the time of the incident said the two men ran from the area after neighbours came out to assist the elderly man.
