Thunder Bay is getting a visit from the Governor General this week.
Julie Payette will speak to students at Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School this afternoon, and cross-country ski with members of the National Team Development Centre.
This evening she will speak at the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2020 at the Fort William Gardens.
Tomorrow, Payette will kick off Lakehead University’s Research and Innovation Week at the university. She will wrap up her trip with a visit to Confederation College’s Aviation Centre of Excellence.
