Foulds Happy To See Bids For Boulevard Dam Project

It’s been a long haul for the City to get the Boulevard Lake Dam rehabilitated.

Seven companies put in bids for the project ranging in price from $7.2 million to just over $17 million.

Current River Councillor Andrew Foulds admits he was frustrated over how long it has taken to get the project going with several hiccups preventing the work in the past.

“But I’m hopeful, I have my fingers crossed that when this facility is finally done, it is going to be something that all citizens of Thunder Bay can take advantage of and enjoy,” Foulds said.

The city is expected to choose who will carry out the work in April.
