X-Ray & Ultrasound Needed At St. Joe’s

A local hospital is in need of $200,000 after their 20-year-old x-ray and ultrasound machines reached the end of their use. St. Joseph’s Hospital staff rely on this equipment to perform thousands of diagnostic tests on-site each year.

St. Joseph’s Foundation Executive Director Gail Brescia tells us they are thankful in advance for any support the community can provide for these vital pieces of hospital equipment. “So that our clients can have diagnostic imaging right in the St. Joseph’s Hospital, where they need it most, it alleviates some of the need to go outside off-site to get those tests done and for some patients, they can get it done at their bedside.”

Brescia says they’ve already ordered the new equipment explaining, “the x-ray equipment is on its way and the ultrasound arrived last week.”

For every dollar the community raises during the month of December, the St. Joseph’s Foundation will match it. You can find out more information and donate by clicking this LINK.
