With the exploding interest in Marvel characters and Disney’s new streaming service taking off beyond all initial expectations, it’s no surprise that there are a glut of Avengers ‘offshoot’ movies and TV shows planned for the near future. The first trailer for the new ‘Black Widow’ movie was released today and it looks to be an action packed ride! Scarlett Johansson continues her role as Natasha Romanoff, the Russian spy/assassin turned Avenger but the movie sees her returning ‘home’ to take care of some family business. I’m not overly familiar with Black Widow’s back story, but I am definitely interested in ‘learning more’ based on the trailer. I mean, David Harbour is showing up as Red Guardian, and is obviously not in the shape that he used to be (think, Mr. Incredible from the first Incredibles movie).
