United Way is looking for some help from retirees.
Spokesperson Jodie Wilson tells us many people were giving back through their employee contribution plans but have since retired.
“They would like to continue to contribute to the United Way and give to causes near and dear to their heart but at a lower level since retiring.”
Retire United Thunder Bay offers several opportunities to give, volunteer or advocate. Annual donations to Retire United Thunder Bay are available at three levels: Bronze: $250, Silver: $500 and Gold: $750.
