Early voting is underway at Confederation College and Lakehead University for students and staff.
Thunder Bay-Superior North Returning Officer Dale Mason tells us students have been taking advantage of the on-campus poll at LU.
“This is the fourth day of that, and we are having really huge turnouts of students and staff at Lakehead. We are trying to make it easier to vote.”
Wednesday is the final day for students and post-secondary staff to vote at on-campus polls.
Meanwhile, if you can’t wait to cast your vote in the upcoming October 21st federal election, you can vote by special ballot at any of your riding’s returning offices this week.
Alternatively, advance polls begin on Friday and will run throughout the Thanksgiving long weekend. Polls will be open from nine am until nine pm throughout Canada.
To vote on the weekend, you will have to go to the polling station assigned to you for advance polls.
You are asked to bring your voter information card and a piece of I.D.
