Thunder At The Bay Coming Back

Tons of cool cars, hot rods, jeeps and vintage snowmachines will be on display for two days at the CLE next month.

Thunder At The Bay’s Kevin Merkley tells us his favourite part of the show is the work in progress category.

“Those are vehicles that are not done. It encourages people that one day, these vehicles will be driven.”

Merkley tells us they’ll be testing out how participants cars handle with a mobile dyno.

“It measures the horsepower at the wheels of the vehicle. A lot of people talk about the horsepower of the engine, everyone is huffing and puffing about it, but what’s really important is the HP at the wheel, and we’ll have the dyno there to prove that.”

The event is going into its fourth year and will take place on August 17th and 18th.
