Children in the Northwood area could soon be playing in a brand new splash pad.
City council decided Monday night to move forward with installing a water feature at the Northwood Playfield.
$475,000 was put aside for its construction in the 2019 budget.
City staff will be speaking with area residents and studying other areas in the city that could be home to two final future splash pads.
