We’ve probably all done it.

Mistakenly calling someone on your cell phone and not even knowing you did.

But if you make such a call to the police’s emergency line, it could be serious.

Former Ontario Education Minister Mitzie Hunter recently toured the north.

The Toronto MPP and Liberal finance critic celebrated the opening of Sioux North High School, a project she worked on during her time as a minister.

She spoke to Stuart Walter about her trip, as well as her thoughts on the provincial government.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is still looking for feedback on how to improve the provincial moose tag draw and the quota setting process.

A series of seven public consultations were held across the province, including Thunder Bay and Dryden.

Greater effort is being taken by community groups in the region to fight human trafficking.

The Ontario Native Women’s Association just released a report called Journey to Safe Spaces.

It’s Program manager for community development Collin Graham tells us this report got its start a few years ago.
