On the charity front, people will be raising money for the Arthritis Walk today at Prince Arthur’s Landing.
Participants will either walk 1 km or 5 km today for charity.
Spokesperson Shawna Beaulieu tells us their goal for the walk is $25,000.
“The funds raised through the Walk for Arthritis go toward vital services, research, different programs that we have going on, education, and our Kids’ Camp.”
Registration gets underway at 10:00, with the walk starting an hour later.
The City has closed down roads to make way for the walk which includes Saul Laskin Drive from Bobby Curtola Drive South to Bobby Curtola Drive North.
