Conservative Pullia Comes Out As Pro Choice

It appears the anti-abortion group Campaign Life Coalition has changed its mind on backing Thunder Bay-Superior North candidate Frank Pullia.

They had promoted him on their site saying he was pro-life however the conservative candidate released a video statement yesterday saying he believes in a woman’s right to choose.

The website voteprolife.ca has updated Pullia’s profile saying, “Frank used to identify himself to constituents as being “pro-life,” including in discussion with pro-life leaders.”

The organization says they’ve changed their rating after he made his video.

Liberal incumbent Patty Hajdu has come out saying “elected officials and candidates are accountable for the words that we say. Women’s rights, including reproductive rights, should not be a political bargaining tool.”
