A happy ending to a story we told you about in December of 2017.
After almost two years of looking for her dog, Laura Shaw is about to be reunited with her beloved Border Collie Harlow.
Harlow and two other Border Collies went missing from their home in Neebing in June of 2017.
The two male dogs were found in the Ottawa area a month later when a vet scanned one of their chips.
Shaw has since moved away from Thunder Bay but is looking forward to seeing Harlow in her new home of Sarnia on Friday.
Right now, Harlow is with Shaw’s sister Grace who got a warm greeting from the pooch.
“Jumped up on her, and was in her lap, licking her face. She was so excited to see my sister and totally knew who she was.”
Harlow was with a Thunder Bay family who didn’t know she was missing.
A friend of Shaw’s put the pieces together on Sunday when she recognized a local dog that looked to be similar to Harlow.
Shaw is thanking the family for bringing her two-year nightmare to an end and returning Harlow to her.
