Rising Flood Waters Monitored Out East

The Premier of New Brunswick is keeping a close eye on rising flood waters.

Blaine Higgs says he has been asked if there is a need at this point tom declared a state of emergency.

“I’ve had and will continue to have these conversations everyday with public safety officials. At this point in time, there is no need for one, but we won’t hesitate to declare a state of emergency, if public safety demands it.”

The Premier adds he is working closely with the Emergency Measures Operations and the military, and believes at this point, they have enough resources available.
