Canadian Cancer officials are hoping to raise over $20,000 across the region through this month’s Daffodil Days fundraiser.
Spokesperson Maria Cabrel tells us money raised in the Northwest goes to help local cancer patients by providing them with a variety of programs.
“Wheels of Hope program, the wigs and turbans program that’s offered for free, our patient navigator program that helps patients get out of Thunder Bay for service and supports.”
Donation boxes full of plastic yellow daffodil pins can be found around Thunder Bay at a variety of stores.
