Pedestrian Hurt In Simpson St. Collision

One man was seriously injured in a south side collision just before 10:30 Friday night.

Police were called to Simpson Street near Pruden Street after they say a car hit a pedestrian who was lying on the road.

The 27-year-old city man remains in the hospital in serious condition.

They haven’t announced any charges against the driver of the car.

Police say their investigation continues and they want to speak to any witnesses who saw the collision.
