Bit of clarification from Ontario’s Energy Minister over some controversial moves to save money by the government.
Greg Rickford maintains the offices of the environmental, child care and French language advocates are not being cut.
“None of these offices are being dismantled. They are being moved into the Office of the Ombudsman and Auditor General. They have had and will continue to have independent oversight from the government.”
The minister adds the move offers the most efficient and effective way to provide the highest level of care.
