Marina Park is hosting the tenth annual Kidney Foundation’s fundraising walk at 11 this morning with registration at the Festival Grounds an hour before.
Organizer Daniela Piotrowski tells us this year they would like to bring in over $10,000, noting they were well on their way earlier this week.
They had raised $8,500 towards their goal by Tuesday.
Money raised goes towards education, patient support programs and research.
