Five Thunder Bay organizations will be sharing in just over a million dollars from the provincial government.
The funding will help organizations address the root causes of youth violence by providing mentors to Thunder Bay’s young people.
Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association, the John Howard Society, Kairos Youth Centre and the Thunder Bay Counselling Centre will share in the funds.
