A young driver is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop by Thunder Bay police.
Around three Monday afternoon, police pulled the black pickup truck over on Island Drive for unauthorized use of licence plates.
It was discovered the driver was sitting in a lawn chair, the original seats removed, and no seat belts where the belts should be.
There were a number of other defects, making the truck not safe for the road, and an insecure load in the box.
The driver was also charged for driving while suspended, and driving with no insurance.
