YES to 4 more years of The Young & The Restless!

I have been a huge fan of the soap “THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS” since I was 16. Yes….and I’m happy to admit that to anyone / anytime.

CBS just announced the renewal of Y&R for four more years, thru the ’28 season. In a few weeks, the soap will celebrate its 51st anniversary.

It officially debuted on March 26, 1973. For the first 7 years it was 30 minute episodes. It wasn’t until 1980 when it changed to one hour episodes. To date – there’s been over 12,500 episodes of the show. AMAZING.

Cheers to FOUR MORE YEARS!

Danny Foresta was born and raised in Thunder Bay. He's worked in radio for over 30 years. Has spent the last 20 years in Morning Radio. Joined Acadia Broadcasting in 2021. He hosts "Mornings In The Bay" on 99.9 The Bay.
He enjoys all aspects of the radio industry. Danny is married to Lori, and has a son, Joseph in University.
