Women Charged After Weekend Accidents

OPP are charging a 57 year old woman with failing to stop for a red light after a Sunday collision at the intersection of Highway 11/17 and Dawson Road.

The driver of a Buick was stopped at the intersection waiting to turn left onto the highway when he was struck by a south bound driver.

Meanwhile, a 48 year old woman is charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample after a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 61 and Arthur Street.

On Sunday, the driver of a Toyota Tacoma was stopped at the intersection waiting to turn left onto Arthur Street from Highway 11/17 when the vehicle was struck from behind by the driver of a Jeep Liberty.

Subsequently, the driver of the Toyota Tacoma then struck a vehicle that was in front of them waiting to turn left as well.
