When the day gets a little too loud…

Some days, life just piles up. You’ve got a million things happening at once, your brain’s buzzing, and it feels impossible to even think straight. So today, from the Facebook page Ordinary & Happy, a few simple ways to hit the reset button when the day gets a little too loud.

Try setting a couple of reminders… make a quick, prioritized to‑do list… or turn off those phone notifications for a bit. It’s amazing how quiet the world gets when your phone stops yelling at you.

Dance to your favourite song. Close your eyes and picture a calm place. Focus on what you can control. And if you’ve got a dog or a cat, give them a little extra love—they’re basically furry stress relief.
